MEDIATION
Court approved in compliance with MCR 3.216. Mr. Morgan conducts both facilitative and evaluative mediation regarding all family law issues including child custody, support and parenting time; and, all property issues.

FACILITATIVE MEDIATION (MCR 3.216)
The mediator's primary role is to assist the parties in reaching agreement through discussions in a positive and productive manner. The parties are expected to be active in the process, discussing their position and giving consideration to the other side's position as they construct a settlement agreement. Creative and tactical thinking by all participants often help resolve the case. Normally the mediator does not offer resolutions, but assists the parties in reaching their own agreement. Parties are not required to be represented by counsel, although it is usually recommended.

EVALUATIVE MEDIATION
The mediator's primary role is to assist the parties in reaching agreement through discussions of their respective positions, and examining the various issues they present themselves, or through counsel if represented. The mediator may offer suggestions for resolution, and may make recommendations.

Involving the following areas: School Expulsions; Property Transfers from one school district to another; Labor Disputes; Tenure Hearings; and, representation of school districts. REAL ESTATE matters involving: Review of legal documents including buy-sell agreements, purchase offers, deeds and contracts; representation at closings; deed preparation; and, land contracts.

ESTATE PLANNING
Including review of and drafting family trusts; wills; living wills (medical powers of attorney); general and durable powers of Attorney.

DECEASED ESTATES
Including initial filing, document preparation, inventory, publication notices and closing of the estate.
